Description:
The purpose of the Atlantic Shores North project is to develop offshore wind energy generation facilities within the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) Lease Area OCS-A 0549 (segmented from Lease Area OCS-A 0499 on April 18, 2022) to provide clean, renewable energy to the Northeastern U.S. in the late 2020s.
