Description:
5/1/2017 - This project has been cancelled. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) denied the proponent’s (SoCalGas) application on July 14, 2016 based on lack of need for the proposed pipeline. As a result, SoCalGas withdrew their Federal application on August 8, 2016 and the Forest Service is withdrawing the notice of intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement.
Issuance of a new special use authorization for the construction, operation, and maintenance of a 36 inch natural gas transmission pipeline within West-Wide Energy Corridor #108-267 (Cajon Pass).
