Description:
Duke Energy Florida LLC seeks approval for constructing and operating two new AP1000 reactor units at the Levy Nuclear Plant site to provide additional electricity for use in the north and central Florida service areas. The two new units would be capable of providing an additional 2200 megawatts of baseload electricity. The licenses were issued on 10/26/2016.
