Authorization for Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal Facilities, Onshore or in State Waters

Description: 
Responsible Agency: FERC Applications for the siting, construction, expansion, or operation of an LNG Terminal must be submitted to FERC. An LNG Terminal includes all natural gas facilities located onshore or in State waters that are used to receive, unload, load, store, transport, gasify, liquefy, or process natural gas that is: (1) imported to the U.S. from a foreign country; (2) exported to a foreign country from the U.S.; or (3) transported in interstate commerce by waterborne vessel.
