The project sponsor filed an application under section 3 of the Natural Gas Act on April 17, 2017. The application and other supporting documents can be found by searching under docket number CP17-178 in the Commission’s eLibrary system.

The Commission issued an order authorizing the project on May 21, 2020. The order includes an appendix specifying environmental conditions, including mitigation measures.

The USCG will issue public notices for the five proposed bridges to solicit comments related to navigation.  Any comments related to the environment will be forwarded to the lead agency.

The USCG issued five permits approving the location and plans of five bridges across navigable waters of the US.  The permits are set to expire in September 2025.  The applicant is expected to submit applications to extend the times to commence and complete construction.
