A Legal Ad (LA) was published in the Phelps County Focus on March 3, 2026 initiating a 45-day comment period for this proposal; only 2 substantive comments were received.  Notices about the project were printed in 3 other newspapers of record during the comment period.   Per 36 CFR 218, a legal ad initiating a 45-day objection period will be published in the Phelps County Focus upon completion of the Environmental Assessment. No other public meetings, hearings, or comment periods are planned.
