Description:
An Environmental Assessment (EA) is being prepared for the proposed runway extension subject to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the lead federal agency for the NEPA document. Ankeny Regional Airport (IKV) is proposing to strengthen and extend Runway 18 to the north by 500 feet, relocate the Localizer navigational aid, and initiate development of the south corporate terminal area.
