Description:
The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), in cooperation with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), is conducting engineering and environmental studies for a new, high-speed passenger rail service and associated infrastructure between downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth, approximately 31 miles. The proposed alignment generally follows Interstate Highway 30. The proposed rail service would traverse Dallas and Tarrant counties and the cities of Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Dallas.
