Description:
The Michigan Department of Transportation proposes to construct the Detroit New Center Intermodal Facility in the New Center neighborhood of Detroit, Michigan to replace Detroit’s existing separate passenger rail and intercity bus stations with a combined facility. The project would replace the existing Amtrak rail station with an upgraded and American with Disabilities Act compliant rail station and provide an adjacent structure, connected by a pedestrian tunnel, that would house an intercity bus station and vehicle parking.
