Description:
The proposed I-83 East Shore Section 2 project limits extend through Lower Paxton Township, Paxtang Borough and Swatara Township in Dauphin County.
The project begins just south of Union Deposit Interchange and extends westward to 29th Street. Proposed improvements include:
- Mainline widening and reconstruction 3 lanes in each direction
- Improved interchange/regional connections
- Improved local access connections
- Bridge replacements
- Stormwater improvements
- Local roadway improvements
