Description:

The Project is located in Federal Way (King County, Washington) on both sides of I-5 in the vicinity of milepost 144 along S 320th Street, S 324th Street, and 23rd Avenue S. The Project proposes to make several improvements for mobility and access, including the following elements:
• Modification of the S 320th Street interchange by adding braided ramps and access at S 324th Street.
• Construction of a new two-lane bridge over I-5 at S 324th Street.
• Extension of S 324th Street from 23rd Avenue S to Weyerhaeuser Way S.
• Widening S 324th Street from State Route 99 to 23rd Avenue S.
• Improvements to S 320th Street, including replacing the existing bridge and widening S 320th Street east of I-5 to add high-occupancy vehicle lanes.
• Nonmotorized improvements along 23rd Avenue S, S 320th Street, and S 324th Street.
• Stream crossing upgrades to improve fish passage, including under I-5.
