Description:
Airport Sponsor Marin County proposes to extend Runway 13/31 at Gnoss Field Airport (DVO) to allow existing aircraft, as represented by the family grouping of critical aircraft at DVO, to operate without operational weight restrictions under hot weather conditions. An 1,100 foot extension of the existing 3,300 foot runway was evaluated in the June 2014 FEIS. After completion the FAA determined the critical aircraft should be re-evaluated. Currently the Supplemental EIS is on hold as the FAA and the Sponsor re-assesses the critical aircaft for the airport.
