Description:

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is working through the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process to evaluate transportation solutions that would improve mobility in Heber Valley and along U.S. Route 40 (US-40) in Wasatch County, Utah. The study focuses on US-40 between State Route 32 (SR-32) and its intersection with U.S. Route 189 (US-189). The study area also extends approximately 1.5 miles both east and west of US-40, and 1.5 miles south of the US-40/US-189 intersection. On 12/11/2025 UDOT signed the Draft EIS (DEIS), the DEIS became available to the public on 1/9/2026 via the Federal Register. Comments are due by 3/9/2026, see project website for more information.
