Description:
The project is to construct a safe, reliable, all-season evacuation road between the community of Kivalina and K-Hill. All alternatives considered include: construction of a causeway across the lagoon; construction of an all-season access road desgined to accomodate a wide variety of motorized vehicles over a two-way road with shoulders and multiple turnouts; and development of up to fourlocal sources of select material to supply the project.
