Description:
The City of Gulfport proposes to widen a 0.59-mile (3,100 linear feet) segment of Landon Road, from the intersection of Highway 49 to the intersection of 34th Street in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi. The majority of Landon Road from Highway 49 west to 34th Street is currently a two-lane roadway with earthern shoulders and open ditch drainage. Kansas City Southern Railroad tracks, running north and south, cross Landon Road approximately 260 feet west of Highway 49, with the majority of Landon Road from the railroad tracks to Highway 49 being five lanes
