Description:

The purpose of this bridge replacement project is to address the existing structural and functional deficiencies of an existing two-lane bridge located on Malibu Canyon Road over Malibu Creek, which is south of Piuma Road in the County of Los Angeles  unincorporated area of Malibu. The bridge is currently classified as structurally deficient due to poor deck condition, insufficient concrete cover, and scour critical. It is also functionally obsolete due to substandard bridge clear traveled width. All work will be performed within existing right-of-way.
