Description:
The proposed facility includes a new tolled bridge with four 12-foot main lanes identical in configuration to the existing bridge. The new bridge would accommodate commercial and non-commercial traffic in both directions of travel. A seven-foot striped shoulder is proposed on the west side of the bridge.
The new bridge would include standard deck drains and would require a total of approximately 0.98 acres of new right-of-way along the east side of the existing bridge at two separate locations for the foundations of the overhead sign bridges. Approximately 0.06 acres of the new ROW are owned by property owners along the east side of the existing bridge, and the remaining 0.92 acres are owned by the City of Pharr which is the sponsor of the project
