Description:
An Environmental Assessment (EA) is being prepared for proposed extension of Runway 13/31 by 600 feet to a total length of 5,100' which will require rerouting of East Santa Fe Road, widen runway from 60 feet to 75 feet, shorten turf runway 3/21 by 970 feet, acquire land within runway approaches and building restriction line, and mitigate obstructions such as trees, buildings, and utility poles subject to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the lead federal agency for the NEPA document.
