The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Red Line Extension Project (Project) is located in Cook County, Illinois. The Project would extend the CTA Red Line from the existing terminal at 95th/Dan Ryan to 130th Street on Chicago’s Far South Side. The Project would reduce commute times, improve mobility and accessibility for transit-dependent residents, provide connections to jobs, education and commerce, and serve as a catalyst for economic development.
