Description:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 8 proposes to rehabilitate the existing asphalt concrete pavement on U.S. Interstate 10 (I-10) from Post Miles (PM) 60.70 to 74.30 in Riverside County, California. The primary purpose of the project is to restore and extend the life of the existing pavement and improve highway safety on I-10 from Caltrans PM 60.70 to 74.30 in Riverside County to serve existing and anticipated demand for automobile and truck traffic. The secondary purpose is to improve mobility for the traveling public by constructing a truck climbing and descending lanes, upgrading guardrails, curb ramps, and roadside signs.
