Description:
The Spotted Road Interchange and Realignment Project, the Proposed Action of this EA, would relocate the Airport Drive/Spotted Road intersection to the east with a new grade-separated overpass interchange above and across four lanes of Airport Drive. This shift to the east would also move Spotted Road outside of the RPZ of Runway 21, which would be consistent with FAA safety guidance. This project would increase vehicle traffic safety by providing improvements to the Airport Drive/Spotted Road intersection, thus reducing vehicle accidents.
