Description:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), proposes the Virginia Creek Shoulders project on US 395, the purpose of this project is to reduce accidents and improve safety by widening shoulders to 8 ft, installing rumble strips on the shoulders and centerline, cutting and flattening a slope on the eastside of the highway at postmile 70.85 and replacing/upgrading culverts as necessary throughout the project limits.
