Description:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes the Tulare Interchange project. The purpose of the proposed interchange is to relieve traffic congestion by improving local access to and from State Route 99 in the south part of the City of Tulare and improving east- west circulation. This project would also enhance traffic safety and provide sufficient vertical clearance between the Paige Avenue overcrossing and State Route 99 (if the Paige Avenue overcrossing is reconstructed). The need for the project is to relieve traffic congestion, enhance safety and provide sufficient clearance.
