Description:
TxDOT Tyler District proposes to widen and reconstruct FM 756 from Jeff Davis Drive, south, to FM 344, in Smith County.
The proposed improvements include widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane facility divided by a flush, two-way left-turn lane. The project also proposes a grade-separated intersection at FM 346.
The length of the project is approximately 6.8 miles. Within the project limits, FM 756 is classified as a major collector. Approximately 145.39 acres of new right of way (ROW) and 1.36 acres of temporary easements are required to accommodate the proposed improvements.
