Description:
The proposed project would widen the existing facility to a four‐lane divided highway with two 12‐foot
travel lanes in each direction, a 14–16‐foot center left‐turn lane, and shoulders varying in width from six
feet to 10 feet, depending on location, within a variable width right of way of 132–153 feet . The proposed project would also include eight‐foot sidewalks on both sides of the roadway
for a portion of the project length.
The length of the proposed project is approximately 5.9 miles. The proposed improvements would
utilize 87.2 acres of existing right of way. Approximately 90.7 acres of new right
