Description:
Improvements being planned for may include, but are not limited to: constructing a primary runway that
is 4,418 feet long by 75 feet wide (current runway is 3,500 feet by 60 feet) with a turnaround; land
acquisition (approximately 60 acres) to support the longer runway and associated Runway Protection
Zones (RPZ); improvements to airfield drainage; the relocation of utilities to facilitate a 4,418-foot-long
runway and associated RPZ’s; and new runway lighting.
