Description:

The Starboard Wind Project will be developed by Bay State Wind LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ørsted. The area to be developed is within the Outer Continental Shelf covered by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) Renewable Lease No. OCS-A 0500 (Lease Area). The Lease Area is located approximately 14 miles (mi, 22.5 kilometers [km]) south of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The Starboard Wind Project represents an update to the Bay State Wind COP, which was submitted in 2019.

The Environmental Review and Permitting Status of this project will be changed to “In Progress” once the Permitting Timetable has been published.
