Description:
Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC, seeks approval for constructing and operating two new AP1000 reactor units at the Willliam States Lee III site to provide additional electricity for use in the Carolinas service areas. The two new units would be capable of providing an additional 2200 megawatts of baseload electricity. The licenses were issued on 12/19/2016.
