Description:

The Bend Project consists of an exploration drilling program to evaluate a copper-gold volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) system with tellurium situated on a federal mineral estate within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Medford Ranger District, Westboro Township in Taylor County, Wisconsin. This deposit has a historic resource estimate of approximately 4.0 million tons. The Project's exploration drilling program includes up to 25 drill holes on locations chosen from 28 potential drill sites, totaling approximately 30,000 feet of core drilling, with an estimated maximum ground disturbance of approximately 7.59 acres. The Project also includes construction of temporary access roads totaling approximately 5,580 feet. The Project will advance on a Federal Mineral Estate through a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) prospecting permit application covering approximately 519 acres.

This project is posted in the interest of transparency and response to Executive Order 14241.
