Public Participation: This Draft EA is being released (11 March 2026) for public review and comment. The public is invited to provide oral, written, or e-mailed comments on this Draft EA to DOE by the close of the comment period on 9 April 2026.

Issuance of Final EA originally scheduled for 14 January 2026 - modified projected completion date to 27 March 2026, 24 April 2026, and 30 April 2026 due to the DOE internal review process. Proposed final date of 27 May 2026 for additional time needed to update the EA to address public comments received, and     allow for review and responses from tribal nations.
