Description:

The proposed project involves constructing a new road to complete a missing link and improve connectivity between Loudoun County Parkway (Route 607) and Old Ox Road (Route 606) in Loudoun County. The project includes the reconstruction and widening of the existing section of Westwind Drive from Loudoun County Parkway to State Street; construction of a new segment of Westwind Drive from State Street to Ladbrook Drive; and reconstruction and widening of the existing section of Ladbrook Drive from the southern terminus of the new alignment to Old Ox Road. A bridge is to be constructed over Broad Run. Westwind Drive would be designed as a four-lane divided minor arterial with a design speed of 40 mph. Design variations within the location corridor will be considered to minimize impacts.
