On April 15, 2019, the Permitting Council's Office of the Executive Director issued the Annual Report to Congress for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018  pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 4370m-7(a). The report assesses the performance of Permitting Council member agencies based on the Recommended Best Practices for Environmental Reviews and Authorizations for Infrastructure Projects for FY 2018 , including agency progress in making improvements consistent with those best practices.  Each Permitting Council member agency was given the opportunity to include comments concerning the performance of its agency.
