FAST-41
The Permitting Council provides hands-on permitting support to infrastructure projects and improves efficiency through clearer timelines and better coordination across federal agencies through the FAST-41 program. For more information about Fast-41 covered projects, please visit the Permitting Council’s new website at permitting.gov.
Environmental Review & Authorization Inventory
The Federal Environmental Review and Authorization Inventory is a comprehensive spreadsheet searchable database containing detailed information on various permitting, review, and approval processes conducted by Federal agencies that may be required for infrastructure projects, including NEPA and other interagency reviews. For each included permit or review, the inventory offers such information as its description, activities that trigger it, and links to applicable statutes and regulations. The inventory can also be sorted by infrastructure sector and/or responsible agency.

Broadband Inventory
The Broadband Inventory provides a central repository of documents and information relevant to the development and Federal permitting and review of broadband projects, including applications, forms, lease agreements, policies and procedures, and process documents. Although the majority of this documentation is also housed on agency-specific websites, this centralized document inventory will ease the burden on wireless providers, public safety, and other project sponsors or applicants who undergo Federal reviews prior to broadband deployment.
Information on Department of Transportation Operating Administration Categorical Exclusions
The Department of Transportation is expanding functionality on the Permitting Dashboard by providing information on Operating Administration projects advanced through Categorical Exclusions (CEs). Providing this further transparency into the decision-making process will allow stakeholders to better understand which projects already qualify for CEs, and provide practitioners with analysis that can be used to inform future environmental review processes. The information associated with Federal Railroad Administration accessible on the FRA Environmental Page at the following link: Environment | FRA (dot.gov) also implements requirements in Section 11503 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act. Information includes where available, Project Name, Location, Funding Program, CE applied, NEPA start date and completion date.
