This presentation provides an overview of National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) and Endangered Species Act (ESA) consultations for offshore wind projects. The presentation covers how EFH and ESA consultations fit into the overall offshore wind permitting process, information required by NMFS to initiate EFH and ESA consultations, and related coordination with agencies.
